Why Jake Plummer’s Opinion is Irrelevant…

Jake Plummer has openly attacked Christianity but in a veiled way by opposing Tim Tebow’s open Christian attitude. What is the Christian response to be?

180 Movie is a Hoax?

Recently I read a to be expected attack against 180 movie. To be brief, the article basically said that Ray Comfort fixed the responses of the people in the 180 movie in order to meet his Pro-life agenda. The accusers even provided some forensic evidence by highlighting the reflection of what they proposed to be a cue card in one of the interviewee’s sunglasses.

So how should we view an accusation such as this? In short: biblically. “Biblically” is, in fact, the way we should view EVERY event in life.

7 Reasons Christian men should not get married!

As my good friend and brother Fred approaches his wedding day, I thought I’d publish this word of warning to him, or any man who is considering this endeavor.

From the heart…

I haven’t ‘blogged’ for a long time. At least not regularly. But tonight my wife actually suggested it. This is a strange occurrence because we get so little time together anyway. I used to write my blogs on a laptop while riding a bus to work, but my new job is only good for listening […]

Again – God is sovereign over all

What will you be doing when Christ returns?

It seems that a this whole deal with some guy (Camping?) predicting a rapture today has become quite a distraction for many. Will you be found ministering to the lost and equipping the saints? Or will your Lord find your breathing out sarcasm, being sure that your Facebook status is the funniest or most biting?

So I ask: what will you are doing when Christ returns? Assuming His second advent is imminent (whether you believe in a rapture or not), will he find His servant busy doing His will?

Let’s consider Jesus’ own words of warning:

Why Should We Pray?

So how is your prayer life? Think for a moment. Do you pray daily, weekly or multiple times daily? Do you pray as long as you wish you did, that is, if you pray for 10 minutes, is there a part of you that thinks you should do 15 minutes?

How do you pray? Do you kneel? Only sometimes or all the time? Do you always say “In Jesus Name?” What if you fall asleep while praying… do you feel guilty? If Jesus said not to pray publicly but to go into your closet to pray…then is all public prayer wrong?
