The Spring Game is a family-friendly event every year. Free parking is offered all around the stadium. This means our normal method of meeting and riding together is unnecessary.
Thus, here are the details:
You are expected to be at the Northeast corner of Lane and Olentangy River Rd (our usual meeting spot) no later than 9:45 AM, April 15. We will begin with prayer and singing with the expectation of starting to preach and evangelize no later than 10 AM.
You are responsible for getting directions, finding a parking spot (they’re everywhere), and arriving early enough so that you have time to park and walk to the location. For anyone who has trouble walking, please contact me so that we can make arrangements to pick you up and drop you off at the corner. I don’t mind doing this at all but I need to know if it’s required. We have plenty of drivers who can help in this way.
Anyone who wants to ride together, we will leave my house at about 9 AM that morning. You must tell me you want to do this so we can plan which vehicle we need to bring.
We will evangelize until approximately noon and then head to lunch. Lunch will be provided.
Usually, the Spring game is one of the first days of the year that you will stand outside in the sun. If you are prone to sunburn, be prepared. It is also likely to be cool when we arrive and then it can get very hot if it’s a clear day. Please plan accordingly, including bringing your own bottled water or drink. As we are only going to be there for a couple of hours, figure out how to empty your bladder and be ready to labor for two straight hours without a break (if possible).
